Yuba City, CA-based Sunsweet Growers has introduced a new line of functional products under the brand name Sunsweet Naturals, which includes Organic D’Noir Prunes, Herbal Waters and SupraFiber. Organic D’Noir Prunes are a natural source of fiber, vitamins A, C, E, B6, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, niacin, pantothenic acid, phosphorus, potassium, riboflavin, selenium, sodium, thiamin and zinc. Available in four varieties, the Herbal Waters line blends herbs and organic fruit juices. Calming contains spearmint and lavender; Replenishing contains dragon fruit, hibiscus and isotonic minerals; Focusing contains ginger, black tea and ashwagandha extract; and Energizing contains green tea, guarana and lemongrass. Sunsweet SupraFiber powder drink mix is a proprietary formulation that combines superfruits—D’Noir prunes, pomegranate, blueberry and acai berries—along with Salba seed, offering soluble and insoluble fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and omega 3s.
